O praise Him...

when life is not-so-very-nice and crazy-beyond-all-sanity; it makes me more grateful than ever for the cross. the cross where a King laid His life down for me. while i was yet hating Him and wallowing in sin...the cross that bridged this terrible chasm of sin. this cross that tore the curtain separating God and man. o praise God for the cross! for now there is no chasm between the two, and we can have a personal relationship with the Creator of the Universe. (!) as if that isn't enough to blow my mind, i am allowed-even commanded-to cast my burdens into His hands and draw from His strength!

"Praise waiteth for thee,
and to render it is my noblest exercise;
This is thy due form all thy creatures,
for all thy works dislay thy attributtes
and fulfill thy designs;
the sea, dry land, winter cold, summer heat,
morning light, evening shade are full of thee,
and thou givest me them richly to enjoy.
Thou art King of kings and Lord of lords;
At thy pleasure empires rise and fall;
All thy works praise thee and thy saints bless thee..."

***OH MY LANTA!!!
the slacks are officially MOVING. i'm now allowed to speak of that which i was not. i've known for awhile (illegally), but it wasn't official yet. oh sadness! NOT speaking to anybody from corning, new york. they are stealing our bass player, my bro's best friend, siobvan-one my very favourite moms- 2 of the sweetest little girls i adore, the rascally hilarious christian...

they'll be sorely missed. i'm tempted to be major bummered out, cause the going away party is the 13. ((can i change my ticket? can i fly out 1 day later?)) not only that, but my mom has finally decided when she's going new york: while I'm in canada. she's gonna see thier slack's land &they're already talking about overlapping and all that fun stuff.
dang. is there any way to be in 2 places at once for just one day?

Great Post! Other than that, I can't really comprehend what you all are talking about (aside from the part about the Slacks moveing:) so I think I'll just say it again: Great Post.

huh? beks, if i was proud over it why didn't you say so? pride is never "in a good way". not in me.

it's not like i made the rose. all i did was take a pic. God made the flower and the camera did the rest.
if only i could make other pics turn out that good...

only then i'd have even more pride than i do now. i might even end up joining the I.I.E.!! gasp. mom would be so dissapointed...
hahaha

Remember, Jesus is praying for you! hehehe.

aww, dams, I so did not mean to make you feel bad or anything like that. I just meant that it was one of your fav. pics. you can be happy and pleased with what you've done, as long as it doesn't inflate your ego.
i mean, c'mon. we always think alike, u should know what I mean ;)

(even the blogsphere)

Ok Dami, speaking of your ego, can I call upon your brilliant technical abilities for a favor? I just tried to make a new post on my non-blog to respond to the comment you left, and I made it on the wrong blog! Don't ask me why (or more accurately, how) I made myself two blogs; perhaps just to illustrate how inept I am at all this beyond lurking and commenting. :) But are you somehow able to make my post appear on the blog that does *not* have a little smilycon after it? Or if nothing else, just go read it, because it was really written just for you. :)

I like your (God's) flower too. God did a beautiful job creating it, you did a beautiful job capturing it in a photo! :)
